Our “Plants for Planters,” Pre-finished Program is a
collection of premium annuals and choice vegetables.
The annuals in this program are hand selected because they have proven useful in combination planters and landscape plantings. We use our best horticultural judgment
to grow some of the best, brightest, and most interesting plants in the annual category.
What To Expect
What You Get
Annuals are grown in 4.5-inch round terra cotta pots.
We plant enough cuttings, plants, or bulbs to produce full pots when finished.
Vegetables are grown in 4-inch square terra cotta pots.
Timing
Pre-finished plants are scheduled to finish in April and May for prime sales, approximately 4 to 5 weeks after delivery.
Because growing is not an exact science, no claims are made regarding exact size or degree of flowering at delivery.
We finish warm, using 62 to 64-degree nights.
Growing below 60-degree nights will delay crops.
All Caladiums will have six weeks of growing time.
Foliage will just be emerging at the time of delivery.
Packing & Labeling
Annuals are pre-spaced in flats that hold eight pots upright.
Vegetables are packed in flats that hold eighteen pots upright.
Each pot includes a tag with the plant name and a short description.
Pots are labeled to meet requirements for volume and producer name.
