2006

Humble Beginnings

Trail Nurseries was established by family owners Mark and Karen Miller and Scott and Kathy Miller with a mission to become an efficient, high-quality plant producer for the Mid-Atlantic region.
2010

Starting With One Acre

The business began with one acre of greenhouses, giving the Miller family a hands-on first year of learning, adapting, and building the foundation for future growth.
2011

Early Growth

As customer demand increased, Trail Nurseries expanded greenhouse space and production capacity while working with a local grower to support continued growth.

Wellsville Expansion

Trail Nurseries eventually purchased the local grower’s Wellsville operation, a major milestone that helped double sales and expand the company’s regional reach.

Rising From The Ashes

A fire destroyed the Trail Nurseries production facility in December 2011, creating a defining challenge for the family and the business.
2015

Better Than Ever

Four years after the fire, the family built modern greenhouses at the Dover production facility to improve efficiency, increase production, and better serve customers.

Continuous Improvement

Trail Nurseries now operates approximately four acres of greenhouse production across three Pennsylvania locations: Dover, Wellsville, and Sunbury.
